Life’s Race, by Tyler Cedric Golden Subscribe to rss feed for Tyler Cedric Golden

Despising is despicable; it’s such a heart ache,
Loving is just as hard, but at least its love and not hate,
Upon so much stress and emotion I just want to break,
Under all of this powerful pressure I don’t know how much
more I can take,
Sometimes I just wish this was all fake,
But through it all I will just have to make,
Even though going through hard work, such as having to lay
bricks and rake
And even help cook and bake,
Sometimes in my head I’m screaming “OH! For God’s
Sake!”
But I just have to keep up with the pace,
Before I fall on my face,
In the end negatively is this really my place?
The only way to find out is to finish life’s race!
