You Can Make It (Dedicated to Kameron Hale), by Tyler Cedric Golden Subscribe to rss feed for Tyler Cedric Golden

We used to play baseball together; we used to be what you
call friends,
This incident that has happen is one terrifyingly horrible
event, but please tell me this isn’t the end,
For you have done so well in life and have worked so hard,
Your destiny seemingly has been shown, for these are your
cards,
And yet there are miracles that can still occur,
Hopefully one will come and that our prayers have been
heard,
Not just heard, but also responded to in a positive way,
All we can hope is that things turn out for the best and
that you come through soon on some sunny day,
I’ve been thinking very deeply as in meditation on why
things like this have to happen to people, who do not
deserve such a thing,
The only true explanation is accidents happen, and maybe
this is God’s choice to take you under his wing,
It doesn’t see fair, it seems extremely mean,
Even cruel to some, but as hard as it is we do not have a
choice,
No matter how strong we feel and how loud we scream, no one
hears our voice,
Powerless and useless we feel when we can’t do anything
about these events,
It is not right, for so much life, love, and time we have
spent,
On caring and helping these people that just has to vanish
from their existence right in front of our eyes,
The only things we feel we can do are hope, pray, and cry,
For we don’t want such a precious, young, loved one to
die,
As harsh and strict as some of this is, it’s hard to say
that it is the truth,
And that Kameron I honestly wish there was something else I
could do for you,
Such as lend you some strength to help you make it through,
But you are on your on and cheer you on is all I can do,
You were so kind, smart, and fit,
I wish I could have ran to you right away, with a medical
kit,
To at least say I tried in helping you with your pain,
I hope you know that as hard as it was to you to notice, I
care about you and many others feel the same,
All I can do right now is hope and pray and I know you will
do your best,
Through all of this it appears to have been a test,
On your will to live and make it through life,
I know you’ve done well and you will not give up this
fight,
I try to be optimistic, even the tiniest little bit,
In the hopes of that, YOU CAN MAKE IT!!!!!!!!
