I hope you remember., by Lillian Subscribe to rss feed for Lillian

When you wake up
I hope you remember me
When you take your shower
I hope you remember the way I made you clean
When you drive to work
I hope you picture me in the passenger seat
When you turn the heater on
I hope you remember how I always used it on my feet
When you're working in the cold
I hope you smell me on your warm bandannas
When you hear our songs on the radio
I hope you think of me and go cookoo bananas
When you get home
I hope you miss me
When nobody is there to take care of you
I hope you start to feel lonely
When you sit down to eat
I hope all you can taste is my secret Italian dish
When you laze down to watch TV
I hope the only show on is The Office
When you try to listen to CDs
I hope all you can hear is my voice singing along
When you put your Sublime albums on
I hope the only song you hear is Everlong
When you light up another cigarette
I hope you remember the ones I used to make you
As the smoke curls away from your face
I hope you remember all those little things I used to do
When you talk to her on the phone
I hope you recall how we did that every night
When you two talk about a future
I hope you again realize you've already lost the perfect
wife
When you sit on myspace
I hope you remember who made it
When you anonymously view my page
I hope my smiling photos make you feel like shit
When you're ready for bed
And you try to drink yourself to sleep
I hope our memories flood your thoughts
I hope the only thing you ever dream of again is me
