There's a black and white photo 
Hanging on my wall 
I know this person well 
But I'm not sure how 
She helped me from my car 
When I crashed beside a hill 
She pulled me out 
She saved my life 
I never saw her again 
Until just yesterday 
Looking through a photo album 
At my grandmothers house 
I see the girl 
Standing there 
I look at the back 
There is a note for me 
"My little one 
I am just your babysitter 
And when you grow 
Even when you think 
You don't need me anymore 
I'll always be there 
Watching over you" 
As I stare into her eyes 
Grandmother interrupts 
"She died 
When you were young." 
A tear rolls down my cheek 
As I look into the eyes 
Of the guardian angel 
I never knew I had
