How I wish I could make a rhyme
Something about winter time
For it is the winter season
And I need a poem for this site, that's the reason.

I could talk about the snow
And how the wind doth blow
How in the back yard I built a snow man
I can build them better than you can.

I put a carrot for his nose
A jacket for his clothes
An old hat on his head
And, oh, his name is Ned.

He has branches for his arms
Oh, he has so many charms
I put a scarf around his neck
And the birds come and on him peck;

Because I put seeds for each eye
I shout at them, away they fly
I wrapped the Xmas presents up last night
In yellow paper, they're a sight.

Well, what do you know, I made a rhyme
And it's about winter time
Come here and pat me on the back
Now I think I'll hit the sack
Goodnight.
