The Leaving Heart, by Anthony Cardon Subscribe to rss feed for Anthony Cardon

Shadows trace the underground forest
Grazing against lost foundings.
Silence lay in the deep wood
And thoughts are carried away misunderstood.

The forest of rubbish,
As they all say
Spans over the magma of the earth,
Feeding on burning, longing ideologies.

Heat is not absorbed, only cold stone remains
For the area is locked,
Ready to leave,
Ready to surface.

Ready to disappear
And be forgotten.

Ready to die
And to be missed.

Ready to brew...

And ready to fear.
