At My Side, by MorbidMaiden Subscribe to rss feed for MorbidMaiden

I hold in me this memory,
That still rings true today.
Even in my darkest hours, by my side you’ll stay.
You gave to me the lightest of touches,
And gently whispered words,
Through sunlight and the song of the sweet blackbird.
I called your name through my tears,
And as always, you replied.
Even in my darkest hours,
I know you’re at my side.

My Goddess sweet and tender,
I owe so much to you,
You gave me the strength to see the day through.
You gave to me the warmest of smiles,
And sheltered me from the cold,
Through moonlight as we watched the night unfold.
I called your name through my tears,
And as always, you replied.
Even in my darkest hours,
I know you’re at my side.
