If you look outside your window,
Breathe air on the frosted glass
Draw a heart upon the surface
And watch as it fades away

But the marks shall linger,
Permanently imprinted with your finger
Through your every battle smile,
and every burst of loving tears

Please remember these marks are normal
And they remain hidden till cold breath comes again
They may not be visible day after day
But they are there, and there they will stay

Now go to the window and look beyond
Look to the sky thats full of stars
Remember thats where you belong
Free from those hidden marks

Go to the window and watch the sunrise
See the day come to live beyond the marked glass
Open your window, and let the air in
And then breathe freely at last.
