Arpita (in regard to my classmate), by Craney Subscribe to rss feed for Craney

-"Good evening everyone. I hope that you are not very tired
at this very moment, for the discussion I am about to start
with the rest of you is very important", began the principle
of of Jordan's School, the biggest private school of Ashtel.
Many people of that city, loved that school not only because
it gave most of the courses for free, but also because many
students who graduated from Jordan's school later on
continued education at universities and prestige private
schools to become a famous acters, doctors, or laywers.
Room, where more than fifty adult people gathered was large
and full of nicely polished furniture, such as desks and
cupboards attached to the wall. Overwhelming majority of
people were as you might guess parents of pupils visiting
Jordan's School. Each parent was sitting at the desk and
facing four other individuals sitting in front of the
audence. Among them were two women and two men. One man whom
one could give 50 years, in the way he was dressed (black
toxido, and golden star)resembled highly influenced
individual. In fact, this half-boldy man was a proud
principle of Jordan's school as well as the pastor of local
church. The rest of other people (one man and two women)
were residing from both sides of him. A principle's name was
Marty.
Before, continued his speech, he took a gulp of water from
the glass placed right on his desk. His face looked very
stern. It gave a large portion of thrill anxiety to almost
each person who was sitting in the room. Most of them had
already known what the conversion was going to be about.
-"Today, we will not discuss many of your children, for we
simply don't have much time for that. Then, it is not what I
actually called you for", principle looked down the desk,
and deeply inhaled. He felt uneasiness. Then, raised his
eyes toward audence. "We have actually one issue to
discuss". Then, Marty turned left toward the woman who wore
the glass and gray gown. "Ranzella, would you please?"
-"Yes, yes, if I may", answered woman and harriedly shook
his head toward her boss. Then, she stood from her desk and
turned toward audence.
-"I am the Hearlan teacher (Hearlan is local language), and
Mr Ravi, "I want to talk to you about your daughter".
-"What's wrong with her?, the face of the young man looked
perplexed and half resentful. "As far as I know she is a
bright hard working pupil, and you have never given her a
bad mark". So, what seems to be a problem?"
-The problem oh our dear Mr. Ravi is not with her way of
studying" there was an apologetic smile upon teacher's face.
Here, I have absolutely nothing to question about. The
problem is your's daughter behaviour".
-Hey, give me a break, my daughter is a very well
disciplined person!" started protesting Ravi. "Did she ever
argue, or even fight with any of you?" and he ran with his
eyes at every teacher sitting in front ot the desk,
including the principle.
-"No, definelty not" agreed Ranzella.
-"I personally never had trouble with her, shrugged a man
sitting from the right side of the principle.
-"In this year, many pupils in our classes have numerous
complains about Arpita Rabdell, continued teachor of
Hearlan. Looks like your daughter doesn't mind fighting, and
what is really unusual not only for the girl like her, but
also for human, she absolutely doesn't mind biting".
-"Yesterday, one of my boy was bitten by your dear
daugther!" suddenly intruded the man from the back desk. He
had a horrid bite on his shoulder. We even had to go to the
hospital with him!
-"My daugther had a leg punctured because of Arpita!" added
a woman from the left row. "She was deadly scared"
-"My son had a bruise beneath his eye!" exclaimed an older
woman, sitting closely to the last one whose daughter had
leg punctured. "He told that your daughter punched him".
-"Oh that's my daughter! Nice work", thinks Ravi.
-"At least one of her fight had a good reason", thinks
Marty" That bully Greg really needed someone to teach him
the lesson. Especially if it comes from a girl".
-My son, Hasyan, was also beaten by Arpita" said petite
woman. She was most probably from China. He was beaten by
Arpita twice".
-"So why did she do such thing to him?" inquired a woman
sitting close to Ranzella. By the way, she was a teacher of
mathematics at Jordan's School.
-"I don't know" answered that woman. "My son told me, that
she simply wanted to fight with him".
-"I don't think that you have to believe in everything what
your son says" assumed Arpita's father, "Actually, it could
be him to initiate that fight".
-"Pardon me, she has beaten him two times, immediately
protested a petite woman. I don't think that once my son was
beaten by such bully, he wanted to meet and fight with her
again".
-"Yes, sir, as you see, it looks like the boy was telling
the truth. Your daughter has become a bully number one in
the whole public school".
-"I want to say something" said the woman from the right
back desk". He face was an indication of great fear.
-"Yes, be our guest", prompted Marty.
-"My son was several times bitten by your sweet angel,
Arpita, she looked at Ravi like he were a criminal accused
of the most horrible crime. He was speaking heavily with a
good deal of tremble. "The bites were not serious, but what
has happened recently does bother me. Your daughter promised
to eat my son, Lavan. I feel... that I have to transfer my
son to another school."
After listening to her, Ravi as well as the rest of other
men sitting right beside him gradually started to laugh.
Ravi was laughing so much that it brought him a tears.
-"I am so sorry, but I just couldn't hold it..." said Ravi
in the intermission of his laughter. "Do you really believe
in such nonsense? My daughter most probably was simply
joking with your son".
-"Hey, I could suggest very nice sauce for your daughter!
replied joufully the other man. "It would definetly make
Lavan so juicy, so tender!"
-Cut it out - you, with such stupid joke! replied angrily
woman. "I believe that what my son says is absolute true.
And it is NOT FUNNY!
The man who was sitting beside Ravi, immediately closed his
mouth. The words of the woman sounded too assertively to
him.
-"I also have strong reason to beleive in what you just"
said. Replied a woman with a long, brown hair, who was
sitting hear the window. "My son told him that Arpita used
to bite him, and when she did she licked his blood from his
skin. It looked like she simply enjoyed tasting him."
-"In fact, I also have something to tell" suddenly replied a
man, who was a teacher of science. Your daughter has mouth
of predator. She has large and sharp teeth. Her mouth is so
large that one could easily put his fist in that. She is not
a HUMAN! I also suspect that she has a monstrous stength
which is also as you all agree, quite unusual. I wouldn't be
surprise that she would try to eat some of us in one day. I
am telling you Arpita is very, very dangerous personality.
She is not a human.
Ravi looked very distressed. Yes it was too obvious that
something was wrong with her. As her father, Ravi used to
see her mouth. But he never really paid much attention to
it. All that time, he simply tried to avoid the fact that
his daughter has a features of a real predator. Those
features didn't appear in any of his ancestors eccept one...
who used to live more than 50,000 years ago.
-Send her to the zoo, such a hyena! excaimed forty years old
man with a big mastaches.
-To juvinile school, she must be locked securily from the
rest of other children!", proposed the other man
-No,mental house, she must be isolated from the rest of
society! prompted woman, who has obvious problem with
obesity.
-People, people calm down please asked earnestly Marty. WHen
the crowd became quite, Ranzella turned to Arpita's father
-Every day Arpita bites at least one student at school. I
asked he what prompted her to do such thing. She told me
that her teeth are itching, and she simply wants to bite
some of the boys who makes her angry. So, Mr Ravi, please
talk to her. She needs to stop that behavior, and stop
biting other students around the class before the situation
is getting worse. Then, we really have to send her away the
place, where she couldn't commit harm to other people.
Please, Mr. Ravi, we need your help.
The Ravi thoughtfully looked down the table.
"Of course I knew that my daghter has exceptional features,
not like those of normal human. I knew that she quite often
left the house to spend some time walking along the lake
shore. Of course like any other child Arpita used to fight
with her brothers and sisters. It is quite common
phenomenon. And it was when she was so small like 4, 6, 8
years old. She used to bite... But definitely not that often
as nows when she is 12. And her teeth has changed become
bigger and and sharpier. The situation has become quite
serious. Darn, Arpita" He was thinking.
"So what do you think, Mr. Ravi? suddently interrupted the
silent, Marty.
"Oh yeah yeah yeah. I will surely talk to her about
everything what you have told me this evening, answered Ravi
as he was taken by surprise."
"Good idea", replied Ranzella,"So please tell her to stop
fighting and bitting with other pupils. She has to
understand that fighting is not a good way of solving the
problems between people. She needs to learn how to control
her temper. Otherwise, when she becomes teenager, you will
have great problem with her".
"Of course I understand that!" answered Ravi half angirly.
"Sure I will talk to Arpita, and I will stop her such
irrational behaviour".
"Great!" answered, Marty "So why don't you go now and talk
to her? But don't be hard on her. Try to understand her.
Find the easy way of approaching to her and explain the
importance of self-control and peacefull relationship with
classmates. For it is so important in finding friends and
good job". Then he turned to the rest of audence. The rest
of you are dismissed. Please leave the room and thank you
for coming".
