Tempest, by beccamarie Subscribe to rss feed for beccamarie

carried along by the wind
its cold and submissive
no reason to think
it pushes and pulls at whimsy
sometimes carrying to places unwanted
an occasional undercurrent
taking you to somewhere of surprise
somewhere bright and unlimited
where wishes are reality
a cold break and you're lost again
words swim in front of you
slipping through your fingers
like the wind through your hair
you can't grab hold
they spill around you
others catch them in their grasp
the wind carries you away again
and a soft breeze caresses your skin
whirling you about
hallowed confusion takes hold
as you float away
your mind free, unbound
your senses are glazed over
all is forgotten
blessedly blank
images means nothing
as the landscape changes
you feel nothing
a medicated break
perscription of nature
the calming effect undeniable
unparalleled and inconceivable.
carried along by the wind
its cold and submissive
no reason to think
just exhale and release.
