Squeeze, by beccamarie Subscribe to rss feed for beccamarie

Baby I know you’re sleeping
But I hope you’re dreaming too
and as you hug those feathers tight
with an empty bed at your side
I hope you know
That though I’m far
I’m squeezing my feathers just a bit harder
because one day soon the feathers
Will hold you back
But they’ll feel more like cotton
More like skin
Warm and smooth to the touch
Something feathers could never do
Because one day soon baby
I’ll be there by your side
And when you squeeze I’ll squeeze back
Because baby feathers don’t squeeze
But loves hugs back.
