Death of a school, by Shattered Mirror Subscribe to rss feed for Shattered Mirror

There was a lonely child in a brand new school
he went to a shop, bought a gun, his tool
he plotted and plotted
his plan was thought out
his gun in his bookbag without a doubt
The school hall was loud
life was great
The students reaction was too late
two people were shot
the killer was gone
The childs anger arose as he crossed the lawn
two hours past
the cops did nothing
for all they knew the killer was bluffing
He strode across campus
towards another hall
he locked the doors, no distress call
the shots fired, the victims knew their fate
all their hopes & dreams were over, it was to late
The killers anger seered
They drew their last breathe
look at the snow, its a sign of death
the damage was done
he put the gun to his head
pulled the trigger BAM! he's dead
Friends cry- the pain is deep
They'll never see their friends again
their dead, their asleep

I'm assuming that this was written about the shootings at the campus. That was a horrible day. Great poem, though.
