What keeps a memory in your heart?

When you touch the side of your neck,
And you feel not a pulse,
But a beating drum,
The time that you are in
Is a memory.

When you hold a blanket
And bring it to your heart,
And you feel not a surface,
But a cloud,
The time that you have sat on
Is a memory.

When you see an object randomly,
And you do not fall in love with it,
Instead you observe it carefully
Like an ecologist,
You are standing
Within a memory.

When you enter your room,
And you don't see your bed or your nightstand,
But instead it seems that there is a star here and there,
May your thoughts last forever
In this memory.
