ice and prizes, by beccamarie Subscribe to rss feed for beccamarie

these sheets lay down like ice tonight
the covers heavy as stone
they break the glass
but all i feel is the emptiness like a hole
a complicated triangle
it looks just like a square
you walked away from me to her
held her in your arms
then found someone new
and began again
from girl to girl you flew
tomorrow with a roll of the die
you'll try to guess again
wondering which door to choose
hoping its the one that will let you win.
