Who Are We Kidding?, by Natalie Subscribe to rss feed for Natalie

Who are we kidding?
We’re lost in a whirlwind,
Of people, of places
We say we’ve all seen.

We act like our parents,
We talk like our teachers,
But walk like our siblings,
Some things one cant fake.

I could hide in the cupboard,
And you under a chair,
We could talk for hours,
While flicking our hair.

Still caught in a whirlwind,
Looking down upon our self,
Confusion and anger,
Lies and stealth.

We think we must know,
It's for our own good,
That lies aren't lies,
But rather our truths.
