Guessing Game, by A Lonely Song Subscribe to rss feed for A Lonely Song

OKAY, SO FOR SCHOOL WE HAD TO WRITE A POEM ABOUT OUR
FAVORITE FOOD. IT'S REALLY STUPID, I KNOW, BUT IT WAS
ASSIGNED, SO I HAD TO COMPLETE IT. I'M LETTING YOU GUYS
GUESS WHAT THE FOOD IS. I'LL GIVE YOU A HINT THAT WELL IT
TURNS OUT ONLY CORRINE WILL UNDERSTAND: WE TALKED ABOUT THIS
FOOD FOR A HALF HOUR.

Juice making its way into my mouth
Seeds that are barely noticeable
The smaller the tarter
The larger the sweeter
Green heads prefer not to be eaten
Perfectly turgid orbs
Gone too soon
Not eaten fast enough
Red becomes my new favorite color

Hehehe Yes, Courney and I did have a lengthy conversation about this food. Come on people, this is an EASY one!

orbs might not be the best word, but my teacher wouldn't let me use another. the fruit is more . . . heart shaped.
