A Baby, by Austin Hoehn Subscribe to rss feed for Austin Hoehn

as graceful as a eagle soaring in the sky
more peaceful then the stream quietly going by
more beautiful then the evening sun
more innocent then a nun
a baby from the mothers womb
who just blinked into the worldly light
Knowing no wrong or right
Knowing nothing by sound nor sight
Knowing nothing of what’s coming to him
Knowing not a soul
Knowing no more then they quiet stillness
of his world left behind
the shield he was behind for the first nine months
of his growing life
the amazing little thing
sent from the sky above
to make the world
love
to make the world
light
and just making everyone’s life more bright
