My Worst Day, by Lillian Subscribe to rss feed for Lillian

I woke this morning to the thought of you,
And a smile burst across my face.
I felt happy all over,
So I jumped to find you waiting.
I clicked your link and said, "Let's hang out!"
You answered, "Okay," and then went away.
For hours I made myself look beautiful.
It was the most lovely I had looked in a long time.
I was so full of life,
With my faded red hair,
And my "dark liquered eyes" you "love so much".
It was strange that you didn't return,
But I knew to wait around.
All day I waited.
After awhile I would cry really hard,
Knowing how wrong I was felt terrible.
Why would you leave me like this?
Later you promised a talk.
A talk I desperately needed,
That you took no part in.
Even when I was crying and pleading,
. . . Nothing.

I hate you for suddenly not caring.
The end.
