Sinking, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

I'm too deep underwater and the pressure's piling on,
I'm slowly being crushed even though you think I'm strong,
I can't find the direction that will lead me up to air,
No one heaves me up because no one knows how to care,

So I just sink,
Sink,
There's nothing I can do but think,
Think,
Think about you,

My mind is whispering against my heart's microphone,
A hundred eyes are searching but I still feel alone,
The cold is closing in and the pain is just too much,
I am turning numb to everything but your touch,

So I just sink,
Sink,
There's nothing I can do but think,
Think,
Think about you,

Don't tempt me with your poison,
Don't lure me with need,
I'm too weak to resist,
The pulling of your greed,
Your oxygen is tainted,
But I need to breathe,
There's no one else around,
Who can relieve,

So I just sink,
Sink,
There's nothing I can do but think,
Think,
I'm thinking about you.

It sounds like a song... makes me wonder what it would wound like to music.

Well I wrote it with a song stuck in my head, that's how most of my poetry happens :)
