Touch, by Katy
|
A stroke of the hand ignites a fire within.
An intimate touch reserved for those in love
Strewn about the population as an invitation.
An involuntary action.
Careless move of a finger.
Controllable, needed and wanted.
A rush of feeling grows and grows,
Until you’re blinded by its light.
An illusion brought forth by an unreal promise of security.
Un-returned feelings make haste to break hearts.
The tempt of a touch is lethal.
Heartbreak brought by a small stroke of the hand. |

How true. It sucks how lightly some people take the act of touch and they don't realise that they are leading you on an endless chase... well done! |
