Behind The Line, by bedazzled Subscribe to rss feed for bedazzled

Unfold the creases in my heart,
Iron out the denial,
Paint upon my face again,
The glow behind my smile,

Erase the blackness in my mind,
Removing all the pain,
Light my eyes with a spark,
That makes them see again,

I'm rejecting the idea of your love,
Denying the idea of mine,
Time has given us a race,
But I can't step over the line,

You blank out all the shadows,
That once hovered over me,
But you're the reason why those shadows,
Even came to be,

Betrayal once devided us,
And I learnt from the past,
But now that I am over you,
You've caught up at last,

I'm rejecting the idea of your love,
Denying the idea of mine,
You're still trying to step ahead,
While I wait behind the line,

That's the way it'll always be,
With I love you, do you love me?
I'm not ready to pay the fines,
So I'll wait behind the line.
