My Sister, by Rura Subscribe to rss feed for Rura

We are as close as closest sisters,
Two flutes with a single melody,
Interchanging runs through changing vistas,
Notes like birds alighting on a tree.
To some, friends are like books upon a shelf;
Yet you to me are like another self.
This music will not stop for other misters,
Not will it pause for princes, real or elf.
Just for you, my dearest sister.
I wish I had you at my side,
Your words are always so kind.
The way we are with each other, I’m so happy.
I see a person so much alike me;
When I talk with you, time stops.
Because I feel I need you here,
You’re my sister, doesn’t matter the reality.
I know that you deserve it,
Maybe am I who doesn’t deserve you.
Above all things is our friendship,
Which I want that never ends.
And I will be always here for you,
As you always were for me.
However life may wend, we will be we.

Just wanted to thank you for for being there in the good and bad moments, for being the sister I always wanted.
