The End of a Beginning, by &!* Subscribe to rss feed for &!*

Here's to beginning and ending on a sour note.
I've been plagued by the same thought for far too long,
And the words that tattoo this page have all been here
before.
You never expected anything from me,
And it turns out you were right.

To anyone that's been listening:
Life is only as good as you fucking make it. Those who
wallow in self-pity and disgust are the ones who experience
the most pain, and it's because they want it. I hope the
worst day of your life never happens, even though it
probably already has and no one even noticed.

Those who know this know that there's no one else to blame
when you fuck up. No one can fix it either. Do what you
think is right and don't let anyone hold you back. It's a
mistake, I would know.

Time is like a highway and you look and it stretches
forever. Nothing is forever. Time will soon run out, as
will the highway. Don't get stranded in the middle of
nowhere.

Do not make plans or wishes. Neither are efficient unless
one has the will to carry them out. Do you have it? Would
you act upon it for me? Secrets are a killer now.
