CONVERGING CONFLICT, by Charlie Ann
|
Silence so loud and stillness so rough
in the blinding darkness
of the waking dream
Mythical reality and fictionalized TV
viewed by millions and no one
Sees the boring
Horror of what’s not happening
Freezing heat hits living bodies
Dead souls marching miles never taking a step
toward the peace
they are bringing
Blind eyes see everything inside
where dry tears wash
away the absent pride
of
war

the ultimate love, one willing to lay down ones life for someone they love, one willing to sacrifice is another! |
