Rainbows, by HangmanTheory Subscribe to rss feed for HangmanTheory

So much for rainbows,
Shining colorfully.
It’s all turned upside down,
And turned into me.
So much for those songs,
I sang blissfully.
So much for carrousel rides,
The seats are empty…

This rainbow looks
Just like a frown,
That I can’t see.
Turned upside down
Into a smile,
I’m forced to see.

For several winters,
I’d freeze into sleep.
Wake up to a shinning morning
What’s happened to me?
So much for winter,
It’s dead to me.
Oh where’s the spark of hope I shared,
It’s not with me…

Now I’m waiting for
The days I loved,
To come to me.
Now waiting for
The love I know,
That cant find me…

So much for crayons,
They’re all the same to me.
It’s just a simple rainbow,
I’ll never see…

This rainbow looks
Just like a frown,
That I can’t see.
Turned upside down
Into a smile,
I’m forced to see.
