Crying Out, by Abby Fischer Subscribe to rss feed for Abby Fischer

Before the throne of God they cry
And never cease through day or night
They know they weren’t supposed to die
And won’t give up without a fight

“I had a call; you had a plan
I’m crying out “Let justice rain”
I had a purpose that was taken
Don’t let my murder be in vain
Now give to him and give to her
The destiny you dreamed for me
And ten times more than what was stolen
Let my broken mantle be”

They are falling down from heaven
To the saints in intercession
As they hear the spilled blood cry out
And they plead with God as they shout

“Lord end abortion, in this nation
Free us, God, from this temptation
To steal what you have made to live
Oh Jesus can your blood forgive?

The lies we’ve spoken, and believed
We’ve allowed ourselves to be deceived
And come to slaughter our own children
Telling you we didn’t want them

Oh God we’re sorry; God we’re sorry
God we’re sorry; God we’re sorry

Forgive us Jesus; come and free us
With your blood you can redeem us
Let holy truth break Satan’s lies
Before another baby dies

Oh God we’re sorry; God we’re sorry
God we’re sorry; God we’re sorry
