For the Loss of a Friend, by longingchainsme Subscribe to rss feed for longingchainsme

Bring back the friend I lost this past week
Bring back the hope and the light that I seek
Find me the girl I once called my friend
Give me the girl who's life reached its end
She left for the hospital and never came back
She's back in the flesh, her soul she now lacks
Medication was her last resort
The war found its end, as they blew up her fort
With no choice left, I beg and I plead
My heart is now suffering, I die and I bleed
This friend is not there, she is nothing but fake
How could I have done this, a friend to forsake
Watch over her, make sure she's fine
This friend, what is left, can never be mine
