She Dissapears

I walk through the olive trees A row on each side of me A path ahead of me A soft wind stirs leaves in the trees And through the gaps on the branches the sun shines Long thin streams of sun caress the path Heating the thin loose dust on the floor I stop as i see one tree apart from the rest A gnarled withered remenant of the past And she is sitting there, peaceful The wind picks up every silken strand of her hair Blowing it aside, then blowing her away She disappears from view, from my life And all that remains is the gnarled withered tree So i sit where she sat, cry where she sat My tears fall forgotten into the dust Creating minute puddles of liquid emotion I sit where she sat, die inside where she sat I stand up and take a side path to the sea It rises before some steep steps go down A large rock jutting out lays beside the left side And i walk to the edge of it and look down A steep unforgiving drop below me I close my eyes and stretch out my arms Like my lord on the corss, and i pray to my saviour I pray that in this life because i can't see her That in the next life I can embrace her I open my eyes and drop my arms Refrain from heaven, step off the rock And return to my life in Hell
