Our Feelings, by Phoenix_Ashes Subscribe to rss feed for Phoenix_Ashes

Me and you are similar, me and you
Gender aside; out with old and in with the new
I think you know how i feel, so confused
A feeling I can't explain, something i didn't choose
Anger rising slowly like a themometer but so more hot
You know i'd love to give up, move and give up the lot

Me and you are similar, me and you
Letting the sun wash over our skin, cleanse our exterior
Letting the tears flow, release and cleanse pain from out
interior
But the feeling remains, is it confusion? Is it
frustration?
I cant tell and neither can you
Out with the old and in with the new

Me and you are similar, me and you
Anime, music, each other; things that pull us through
Knowing one another for such a short time
When someone thinks about their hurt feelins, what happens
to mine?
Our feelings, something that's occasionaly overlooked
The rights to the person you love's heart are always
overbooked

Me and you are similar, me and you
But do you ever look around and wonder about love?
Do you ever look at the beautiful blue sky?
Do you, like many others take this world, our existence, for
granted?
To have someone who thinks like me, acts like me, is what I
ask for
If you were asked , would you say this life is what you
wanted?

Thing, breathe, never forget
