Standin on the tall building all alone
she doesnt know what to do cos she cant go home
she knows that she cant stay here forever
but she wanted them to be together
happily dreaming, her life ticking away
hes the only thing on her mind, needless to say
she dangles her legs over as she sits down
she sighs and looks at the ground
all this time, he was just hanging around
maybe if i jump, she thinks to herself
knowing she will never do it
when she looks at her reflection
her eyes see right through it
she isnt on his mind, needless to say
and it hurt when she found out that day
that all the time he'd been there for her
he was just as a mate
and she just hoped that he could be her date
now she sits on a building alone
while the rest of the year go to prom
she cant help but think, why, what did i do wrong
he walks under the building, skinny blonde taken by his
charm
and a tear drop falls and lands on his arm
he looks up, but then looks back down
