Distant Memory, by ~JaLeEsA lOvEs PoLkA dOtS~ Subscribe to rss feed for ~JaLeEsA lOvEs PoLkA dOtS~

I stood there as the sun started to set,
As I felt your hand slide off of mine,
More and more,
Till soon,
You were gone.

If my name were the same as hers,
Would you love me more?
If my eyes were Similar to hers,
Would you have stayed?

I held my cigarette up in my hand,
I watched as the wind,
Carried the ashes away,
Then it hit me...
You were now nothing more than a distant memory.
