New York City
She wakes up at 5:30
And she gets ready for work
So she can pay the bills
And keep life from getting worse
She can't help it
Her parents are gone
And she's got a little sister
Who needs to be with her
With rent overdue
And men usin her too
She can't find her place
And she's losing her faith
But she's fighting
To keep the light inside her
She needs to stay strong
With love beside her
She won't give up
It's not the end now
Even if all is lost
All still can be found
