at the jumble sale
you can find odds
and ends
you can find
where a life starts
and where
it ends.

the toaster with no handle
the cup
with a crack
you can find a television set
from 1956...
that looks cool
but still ddoesn't work.
so many perfect
mint condition
pieces of crap.
and in the rubble
amongst the jumble
sits a tea pot.

she looks useless
she is ugly
brwon and orange
clearly 1970
was her best year
and you walk on by
becuase she
just won't match
the rest of your life.

but if you had looked
realy close in
you'd notice
that she pours quite well.
she doesn't dribble
or bubble
and she is the perfect
size for tea for two.
a cup for me,
but none for you.

you passed her over
and refused to note
that looks
just aren't everything.

I can't help but thinking that there is some kind of meaning here that my brains can't decipher..hmmm..is it really about "Jumble Sale"..???

lol, i try adn be so clever and hide meaning into stories about stuff that doesnt nessecarily happen... the tea pot could prolly be anything really, most likelly a person.
