The tears I cry have no meaning
I can’t feel just how deeply I’m bleeding
I just realized my friends aren’t real
And they’re taking away all I have left to feel
In order to maintain myself
I have to walk away from all I have left
Stride upon stride, wading willingly into the abyss
Oh, the beautiful abysmal destruction
It’s ugliness is my only light
In order to gain I must loose it all
In order to smile I must cry
I hate how in order to give you must take
In order to be given you must be taken away
The lands of stardust and childhood have faded long into the
distance
I’ve missed some vital revolution of faith
Because I don’t remember learning to be me
All my friends have been swallowed in destruction
They’re artificial, lost in their torrents of teenage
drama
They’ve forgotten how to care
How to be the best you can be
How to just be free
The only thing that matters is how they look
That they eyes are rimmed with sleep deprivation
They have to be depressed, because they don’t pay
attention
They can’t see past their make-believe ugly lives
Lying about how their parents treat them
Desperately looking for someone to care
But just like them, everyone’s too wrapped up with
themselves
No ones quite sincere
I’m drowning in their fakeness
They just can’t realize
I’m the only one left to be there
But I do just fine alone as well
The sky turns and glows with mercy
The sun and moon will light my path
I’ve mapped out my road of abysmal destruction
The only one un-starved for attention
The only one who’s real anymore
