Past, Present, Future

as i look back on all the years i think of all the pain and all the tears my life has had a lot of pain through pretending happiness nothing was gained my life was a challenge day by day then i found you and my tears went away you opened my eyes and let me see all the love and joy i thought wasnt for me then you went away no longer near but when i close my eyes i know you are near i wait for the day when i can hug you for the rest of time when i can look into your eyes and know you are mine until that day comes i shall sit and wait for it will happen soon it is our fate i shall love you forever with everything in me i shall be with you again for thats how it was meant to be
