Naught!!!, by Ama Subscribe to rss feed for Ama

How many times do you want me to say?
How wrong the world is we live in today.
Politics, socialism, society, class struggle.
Oblivious,
Living in a bubble.

How do you feel when you hear about poverty?
Knowing how people live in your community.
Wining and dining,
Dying and crying.

You only care for number one,
Why should you if your having fun.
No self esteem and a snotty remark,
Alone in the dark.

Stripped of pride and dignity,
No identity.
Just a number or dash,
Memory turned to ash.

Just bodies' no longer people,
"life" is simply dismal.
Think no thoughts,
They are the naughts.

Humanity pushes and pulls,
Turns us into gullible fools.
When was war a good thing?
Fighting,
Killing,
Lose of limb.

Can't decide so we chose fate,
But we decide on those we hate.
Get kicks out of pain?
Laugh?
NO!
Hang your head in shame.

The "modern" worlds' way of life,
Is full of hate and bitter strife.
We aren't happy if we aren't destroying.
Religions, lives and other such things.

One day those you've hurt take revenge,
You look to me for a friend.
I say no and turn away,
In your bed you must lay.

Realise what you have done,
And how you could changed what was to come.
It was your entire fault,
And in fact it is you that is the naught!!!
