Beauty in the Rain, by . QUEENIE . Subscribe to rss feed for . QUEENIE .

five kids
huddled over
the rain mists over
and we
continue yet
the flick flick flick
of the dead green bic
the quite giggles
and sacred rotation
and yet there
are more people there
they however
are not a part
of this ring.
they are across teh way
continueing on their
very wet day.
the cars
drive pass..
and you were in class
but there we stood
huddled
hunched in hoods
trying to keep it going.
another bowl
another thought
cigarettes and rent-a-cops
how wonderful
the rainy days are
for feeling loved
and warm
no matter how cold you are.
the stinging smoke
and burnt lungs
friendship
trust
alone..
lost without our secret lusts
the world continues
with it's day
and here we stand
fade away
you ignore us
and we watch you
in my thoughts
you are not more perfect
we're all the same
and today.
i feel beautiful in the rain.

xoxo
