Nightmare!, by No Child Is Innocent Once Born Subscribe to rss feed for No Child Is Innocent Once Born

She walks in the dark; cold and alone,
But no way! She won’t return home!
She will keep going for she is strong,
She has to prove them all wrong.
They know nothing of the things she has seen,
They haven’t been where she has been
The images that torture her soul
The images that chill her to the bone
The ghosts that haunt her day and night
She cries as her eyes begin to close tight
No she pleads not another nightmare
I’m sick of seeing this, sick of being scared
The horrors of her dreams cause her the pain she feels
She knows the difference between reality and this is real
Maybe not at present but in the past
At some point in her life time this has happened
She doesn’t know how, she doesn’t know when
But she hopes, prays and begs never again!!
