Everything but Blood, by Kar Subscribe to rss feed for Kar

My entire life has been
A life that you have guarded
From day one the bond grew
A bloodless sisterhood was started

Every problem, every stage
You've watched over with care
I never turned around
To find that you weren't there

Life has presented speedbumps
And we've managed them all
I'll always be your shoulder
Even if it's something small

The one who taught me to fight back
To defend myself and others too
She taught me how to protect
That she is none other than you

All the moments that I miss you
That I wish you were near
They hurt me and they tear me
The days turn into years

You have your proud moments
And though things do go wrong
Your every success will ensure
That your little sister cheers you on

And always will
