Caged World, by Sifirela Subscribe to rss feed for Sifirela

I sit in my caged world, alone and hungry
I don't have many things to keep my mind occupied
Only the lonely and hurt that this world has to offer.
I'm like a bell that rings on cold nights
That brings shivers down many peoples backs
If they deem me worthy to think about

My caged world is like a freezing cold hell
A hell that never ends at torturing me
My heart is stone ice
Withering in the hands of you
I am a bird with clipped wings
In a ragged body that never seems to grow

The more I am in this caged world
The more I feel left out
The more your suicide is my own
Understanding myself
Is like taking a tool and making myself bleed
For that alone
My world is caged by your adament ways
Your belligerant eyes scortch through my own.
I am all that I try to be
Yet my caged world only allows me so much freedom...
And for that alone, I am a withering soul,
Locked tight in a celluar of hate and wrongs....
