City Prey, by El Perro Subscribe to rss feed for El Perro

Within this city the devil dwells
Beneath the streets below the smells
He hunts the needy and lures them in
He promises life instead of sin
They canĀ“t resist they have no choice
They listen hard but hear only his voice.
What can they do where can they hide
The streets are cold and family died
What can they do what place is this
The beast is strong how to resist
The mother pleads but the child is taken
What can they do with life forsaken

I liked it, it was a lil' scary, but true... I guess. Good symbolizim. I also liked how understandable it is.
