You think I am happy
As I smile and laugh with you
I run around being happy not to bring you down
I never show my horrid side because I don’t like to see my
friends sad
I hate people who worry for me
I just don’t want you to
Just leave me alone
My Smile is lying
It is lying to all who may see it
My smile is just a cover for all that has happened
You don’t know what I’ve been through
You never will
To many things
To many mistakes
I am so stupid!
I hate my self!!
Yet you see me so happy
My smile is lying
It is lying to one and all
I am never truly happy
I don’t think I ever will
But if you are truly happy when you’re with me
Then tell me
But it won’t do any different
It will still shine
My lying smile
So many pains
So many tears I have shed
Yet no one knows
Nor no one fears
To think I am not happy
When ever they see me smiling so happily
So easily
No one can yet tell
My smile is lying
No one will ever see me cry
I will not let it be

The smile on my face
