Innocence Lost, by Manic.Angel Subscribe to rss feed for Manic.Angel

A little girl sits in her room
She doesn't play 'cause he'll
Be coming very soon.
She hopes every single day
That someone will rescue her
From this hell in which she
                must stay.
The pain is unbearable
Her heart full of shame
Why is he so terrible ;
Why is he so mean?
She sees a way out
While sitting on the dirty floor,
She grabs it quickly
He's opening the door.
As he comes into the room
She runs the object across her
                  wrists and lays on the
                   floor.
She doesn't feel remorse
She doesn't even cry.
This is her freedom,
A quiet goodbye.
