Men make mistakes in the name of God., by Tereza Cristina Gonçalves Mendes Castro Subscribe to rss feed for Tereza Cristina Gonçalves Mendes Castro

Men make mistakes in the name of God.

Since the world is a world, I see wise people, who claim to
be God's instrument, but kill, abuse, rage, and even say
they are anointed by the spirit? How can this be?
I see the life of Christ, or what they tell of Him, I see
the lives of philosophers, of saints, but nevertheless, I do
not understand so many abuses. Pedophile fathers, pastors
who want to see if brides are really virgins, fathers of
saints who make a thousand and one, invert values, not
counting fortunes that suddenly appear out of nowhere, as
they draw people deceived by the little faith.
Suddenly I see that connection is really abominable, for
there is no need for man to kill himself or to kill others
in the name of God. We are all children of the same Creator,
and I wonder why we lack such love today?
Is it the lack of real connection, where we are currently in
the majority on virtual issues?
We are incapable of judgment, our feelings change. And, the
attitudes generated, but it is abominable to the men of God,
pastors, priests, John of God, and others, to commit abuses.
They should have more sense, more respect, more firmness in
not making a mistake. Not to love two gods, as to God and
yarn, and to despise those who really need help.
Come on, be transformers, let's be like the phrase of the
young missionaries, "always supportive"! Let us thank life,
and report abuses with truth and serenity. Come, really
create in our lives, something more faithful to God who
created everything with love, and gave us wisdom. May we
respect each other, and not commit inversion of values.
Let's fight for being great transformers.
Amen.

other men who are of God, but act like demons.
