you told me a long time ago
you told it to my face
while we laid next to each other
you told it to my face
i don't understand why you felt you had to lie
a lie
an empty lie
full of emptyness and nonesense
why did you have to lie?
the truth wouldn't have hurt me
the truth was no big deal
but you lied
and the fact you lied just made things worse
how can i trust someone who lied
lied to my face
while we laid in eachothers arms
