Away, though never distant, neural reflections ever
persistent. Your image, smile, voice, essence....in my mind
I project your presence. We, us, you, me, reciprocated
energy. Locked within a captive gaze, the world beyond us
set ablaze, oblivious within our daze, the smoke combines
with our emotional haze. We feel the heat as we seemingly
burn, this passion lies where once was yearn. The inferno
consumed us, is it true, or am I just in love with you.
