Loneliness., by Micah John Subscribe to rss feed for Micah John

Try not to confuse my kindness for weakness.
If I wrote down these words could you speak this?
We are all just one pen and paper away from showing
that it's not okay.

You asked me what i'm wearing but it's my heart on my
sleeve.
How can it be so easy to just walk away and leave?
Wash my mind off in the sink and hand it back to my shrink
so she can tell me what I think.

Self destruction is self improvement but not many are
willing to make that movement.
If we aren't moving forward then where are we going except
further in unknowing?

Hear the winds howling and your demons closely prowling.
We are not safe in our comfort zones that we built from
blood and bones.

We are alone.
