Hannah, by doug hankins Subscribe to rss feed for doug hankins

Lashes slowly dance, over eyes of sky blue
Watching for what the world will share with you
lil' missy becomes an adult, like flowers that bloom in
spring
your blue eyes glisten, you have something new to bring
your smile is warm as the summer's sun, your touch as light
as air,
makes those around you, wish your presence to share.
when your gone we hear your laugh, when we dare to dream
sometimes blue eyed Hannah, is exactly as she seems.
Her questions might go unspoken, as often her inner song
but those who know Hannah, know this won't last long.
your words and songs are heard, by all who care
growing and learning as time goes by, your caring you
share.
blue eyed Hannah, your best is coming yet
your smile is seen face to face, warming all who see
I hope blue eyed Hannah, one of those is me.
