My Secret, by Lena Subscribe to rss feed for Lena

I will tell you a secret.
I loved you ever since I was young,
and all the songs that I once sung,
were all for you.
And that was all when I was young.
But when I grew up,
and I was diagnosed with bipolar,
and was in this scary phase,
and by each day getting older,
I contacted you and you ignored me.
But you always loved me,
I knew this from the way you once held me.
You got married before you knew I'd come back.
That is the story and the end of it,
and I would guess we are soul mates.
That's at least what I'd make of it.
So that one day when we both die,
you in your grave and I'm in mine,
I will meet you again.
And don't be frightened.
I only intend after my death to say hi.
Then I intend to rest for eternity,
and eventually say goodbye.
