I'm Sorry, by ~Angela~ Subscribe to rss feed for ~Angela~

I'm sorry that I waited for so long to tell you,
Tell you that you stole my heart,
You stole it without asking,
And now I'm stuck in this prison,
While I watch you with someone else,
I'm sorry I wasn't there months ago,
When I could've gotten to you in time,
Before you fell for someone else,
Before you knew me,
We are one and the same,
Why can't you see that,
I have fallen hard for you,
Free falling for you,
I'm sorry that I wasn't paying attention to my
surroundings,
Maybe then I would've seen you there,
And avoided the fall,
I'm sorry that I'm dragging you with me,
I beg of you to hold on for your dear life,
You have a fortress on top,
But it's foundation is crumbling due to my tears coming down
on it as acid rain,
I'm sorry that I seem unsure to you,
But I can reassure you that we were meant to be,
So if you fall with me,
I will be already waiting at the bottom to catch you,
For if it is a lifetime that it takes for you to fall,
The wait will be worth it,
I'm not sorry that I love you,
And I'm not sorry that you know my thoughts about you,
But I'm sorry that you're too busy to see me at the moment,
For our love is pure.
